Rental Information & Rates - 2006/2007

General Reservation Information

Confirmation letters are sent via email once your online reservation request is received. If you do not receive a confirmation, your request did not go through, and your reservation is not guaranteed. Please contact our shop directly at 800-859-9959 [toll-free] if you have problems sending the online form. Hours are 8:00am-6:00pm daily (MST).

Reservations received more than a week in advance of rental date will receive a 10% discount. Reservations received less than a week in advance cannot be guaranteed. We are not able to reserve your equipment without complete information on participant's height, weight, age and skier type. A $25.00 fee is assessed to any cancellations received within 48 hours of rental date.

Equipment damage insurance is available at $2.00 per day per person, and should be added for Kids Rent Free as well. Insurance covers repair for equipment damage while in renter's possession, but it does not cover loss by theft or other means.

Prices listed in the rate tables are per person, per day.

Please note on the form if the renter needs skis only, rather than a package. Special rates are available for component rentals.

Skier Types

Your skier type, height, weight, age and ski boot sole length are used by the rental shop to determine the release and retention settings of your ski bindings. Be sure to provide accurate information - any errors may increase your risk of injury.

Ski Rental Products

• High Performance - Rossignol, Bandit X and skis for powder, bumps, trees and crusin'.
• Sport Super Side-Cut - Rossignol and Rock X for the beginner and novice skier.
• Junior - Rossignol Comp J skis and Technica boots.
• Boots & Bindings - Dalbello boots and Rossignol bindings.
• Telemark - Skis from K2, Garmont boots, and Voilé bindings.
• Helmets - Available to rent for $8.00/children and $10.00/adults. Reservations are not being accepted for helmets.

Snowboard Rental Products

• Snowboards, Boots & Bindings - Snowboards, boots and bindings for Juniors and Adults from Rossignol. Freestyle bindings only.
• Helmets - Available to rent for children and adults. Reservations are not being accepted for helmets.

Rental Rates

• Kids Rent Free - At Steamboat Ski Rentals, Kids Rent Free! One child 12 or under rents free with each five-day parent's adult rental; certain restrictions apply. Kids rates are available for kids who do not participate in the free rental program. Proof of age is required for all 11 and 12-year-olds.
• Teen Discounts - At Steamboat Ski Rentals, teens 13-17 years of age receive a 25% discount on all rental equipment (excluding helmets); certain restrictions apply. Proof of age required for 17 year olds.
